The MicroVAT™ Tester uses new impedance/current technology to accurately detect the source of electrical system failure in automotive batteries, alternators and starters. Offers hand-held convenience yet rivals the accuracy of heavy load testers. 50-amp fixed load during alternator test results in accurate, reliable testing. Battery test and cranking voltage test results displayed in 5 seconds. Complete system test typically performed in less than 1 minute. Comprehensive data display for battery volts, available amps, impedance rating, starter draw, starting voltage, charging amps plus battery, diode and alternator diagnosis. Optional low and high amps probes provide additional diagnostic capabilities like starter draw readings and determining parasitic current drains and more. Includes storage case.
