Filter, Separator, A/C Sealant, Dye and Lubrication
Stock#: ACTFILTERPL
Description: Helps prevent damage and lost earnings due to damaged A/C service equipment by filtering and separating A/C sealants, dyes and lubricants during vehicle service. Damage results from Type I sealants (elastomer conditioner that causes seals to soften and swell) or Type II sealants (chemical agent employed to seal metallic leaks such as evaporator core leaks) entering A/C service equipment from a vehicle during servicing.HOW IT WORKSACTFILTER connects between the vehicle and your A/C service equipment to filter out damaging sealants, dyes, and lubricants before they enter the recovery machine. Hi-tech filtration permits consistent flow even after trapping a large volume of contaminants. If your equipment recovers from both High and Low sides simultaneously you will need two ACTFILTER units one for each side. The use of 2 filter units is recommended with Snap-onฎ A/C service centers EEAC316A, EEAC318A, EEAC319A and EEAC320A. Not recommended for use on EEAC324A and EEAC325A.FEATURES Prevents sealant from entering and damaging service equipment. Built-in filters are too far down in the recovery machine's flow path. Sealant can damage solenoid valves, pressure sensing devices and hoses before it reaches the built in filter. Traps lubricant, dye and oil sludge thereby extending the life of costly oil separators, allowing you to add the correct amount of lubricant and dye and eliminating "dye residue" for a cleaner machine. Prevents unintentionally charging a customers' vehicle with contaminated refrigerant by keeping sealant out of your refrigerant supply. State-of-the-art high porosity filter media maintains high refrigerant flow even after trapping a large volume of contaminant. Works with all R134a A/C service centers.
