Required tool to comply with GM Recall Bulletins #02049 and #03062 regarding Power Steering Gear Lower Pinion Bearing Separation. To correct the problem, inspect the condition of the lower pinion bearing and replace the lower pinion bearing. In a few cases, replacement of the rack and pinion steering gear assembly may be necessary. Instructions included with tool.
